kloetzel&co. creates stage presentations, on-site performances, and dances for the screen.
kloetzel&co.’s stage work has appeared at such venues as Danspace at St. Mark’s Church (NYC), the Painted Bride Art Center (Philadelphia), On the Boards (Seattle), Movement Research at Judson Church (NYC), Dusk Dances (Toronto), the Fluid Festival (Calgary), New Dance Horizons (Regina), the Horizons Concert Series (Flagstaff, AZ), the Clark Studio Theater at Lincoln Center (NYC), Left of Main (Vancouver), and on university campuses across North America and the UK. The company has also created site-specific works in spaces as varied as the Calgary Skywalk system, a photography museum in California, a defunct period hotel in small-town Idaho, a Cathedral orchard in Saskatchewan, a hidden garden in Devon, England, and an abandoned egg farm in the intermountain West. These on-site ventures have resulted in live performances, as well as in films that have appeared at screendance festivals around the world.
